Whole School News
Tomorrow we watch with pride as our Year 12s take part in the Graduation Mass and Supper. It is a lovely way to farewell them from their time in this Catholic community. They have been a wonderful cohort and have led our school well this year. Although they return for Presentation Night, their Graduation is really their night to celebrate the end of their schooling journey. A big thank you to MS Cusack, Ms Lombardini, Mrs Farson and Mrs O’Driscoll for their efforts in putting the ceremony together and then feeding the crowds afterwards.
This week was also the week that our Year 5s braved the elements as they set off for their first overnight camp. By all accounts they had a fabulous time and were very brave in trying lots of new activities, Big thanks to the staff who gave up their own time to take the students away on such a great experience.

Presentation Night
The annual Presentation Night is being held on Wednesday November 5, at the Northam Rec Centre for all students from Year 1-12. The evening begins at 6:00pm. We ask all families to ensure that they are seated by 5:55 so that we can begin on time.
Each year we ask families to give generously to the Christmas appeal and bring with them a gift to place under our Christmas Tree for people who will not be as lucky as us this Christmas. Please DO NOT wrap the gift, just bring them in a gift bag. Last year we were able to donate some gifts locally and also give the Midland branch of St Vincent de Paul a huge amount of gifts to distribute.
Families are asked to inform the school if their intention is to withdraw their children from St Josephs for the 2026 school year. We understand that family situations change, so ask that you let us know ASAP. This can be done by emailing admin@sjsnortham.wa.edu.au or by competing the Departure Form on the school website. Some year levels have very long wait lists and families who are desperate to get their children into the school.
