Whole School News
As we come to the end of Term 3, this week has been about our graduating Year 12 students - they’ve come to school with anything but a bag, they’ve come dressed as their younger selves and they have worn the uniform with a twist. Today we farewelled them in their final assembly as we took the opportunity to thank them for their leadership and all that they have contributed to St Joseph’s School over the years. As a cohort they have been wonderful, and we will miss their energy and enthusiasm. We are very proud of all of them. The Graduation Mass and supper will take place on Friday 24 October.
For those students who will be sitting WACE examinations as part of their ATAR pathway, we wish them all the best as they head into exam season. This is a very stressful time for them, but we know they have put in the hard work needed.
Good luck to the class of 2025!
School Captains for 2026
At today’s final assembly it was my great pleasure to announce the new School Captains for 2026 - Emily Street and Ben Longmire. Both of these students have worked tirelessly this year as part of the student leadership team and I know they will be outstanding representatives for our school. Congratulations Emily and Ben.
Families are asked to inform the school if their intention is to withdraw their children from St Josephs for the 2026 school year. We understand that family situations change, so ask that you let us know ASAP. This can be done by emailing admin@sjsnortham.wa.edu.au or by competing the Departure Form on the school website. Some year levels have very long wait lists and families who are desperate to get their children into the school.
