On the Primary Campus

We have just hit the halfway mark of Term 3 and what fun we have had! Zooming into space and looking at our solar system in science has been our highlight. In Mathematics, our students have been exploring addition and subtraction strategies to become more efficient when we need to add numbers or subtract. We have also been looking at time and how to read an analogue clock using half past, quarter past, quarter to and of course o’clock. Be sure to ask the Year 2 students about the Papaya that spoke in our writing lessons! We have been focusing on dialogue in writing, and we are getting ready to complete our hot task. We are getting very excited about our upcoming sports day and have been practicing very hard in our sports lessons. Year 2 Gold welcomed Miss Box into their classroom, teaching on a Monday through to Wednesday and Mrs Adams on a Thursday and Friday.
