First Holy Communion
Congratulations to the 31 children who received their first Holy Communion on Sunday. It was lovely to see so many families at the celebration.
Meckering Cross Country
Our Primary students represented the school beautifully at the carnival last Friday taking out the overall first place shield. We are very proud of all our runners.
Reminders
Staff Appreciation Week - next week, the school is celebrating our amazing staff. In place of the individual days throughout the year, we have decided, in the one week, to recognize the wonderful contributions that each and everyone plays. Feel free to find a way to say thank you to staff as you see them because we truely are blessed with amazing people.

Primary Disco - thank you to those who volunteered to help with the primary discos. It is great to see them able to run.
Schooling Destinations 2026
Families are asked to inform the school if their intention is to withdraw their children from St Josephs for the 2026 school year. We understand that family situations change, so ask that you let us know ASAP. This can be done by emailing admin@sjsnortham.wa.edu.au or by competing the Departure Form on the school website. Some year levels have very long wait lists and families who are desperate to get their children into the school.
Mia Wherrett - Year 11
Mia had an amazing four days competing in Brisbane as part of the School Sport state swimming team. She took part in three individual events and two team relays, going up against some tough competition. Mia thoroughly enjoyed the experience and even achieved some personal bests along the way!
Cody Peipi - Class of 2022
We would like to congratulate one of our past students, Cody Peipi, who represented WA in the National Championships recently in Rockhampton. From this competition Cody was then selected to join the Australian Country U21 Men's Team which will tour Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya (Indonesia) in December 2025. Fantastic achievement!
