MESSAGE FROM THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Walk to School Day
What a great turnout we had last Friday for Walk to School day. I received multiple emails from members of the public congratulating the school on the wonderful behaviour of our students and commenting on how lovely it was to see the interactions between the students and the local police who helped. Thank you to everyone involved!
Uniform Frustrations
I would like to take the opportunity to thank families for their patience with our uniform suppliers. This is not at all how we would have wished for the rollout to happen, and we are, in fact, quite disappointed with the delays that are being experienced on some items.
I would ask that you are mindful that we are doing our very best to keep things going and that delays and errors are beyond our control. Comments on social media are not helpful and will not speed up the process. Please also remember that the “old” uniform items are still fine to wear for the next 18 months so if you are having trouble getting into the uniform shop or are waiting for an order, then the “old” items are fine to wear.
It can take some time to get an appointment at the uniform shop, so please do not leave uniform purchases to the last minute and hope to get an appointment quickly. Also, if you are unable to attend your appointment, please go back in and cancel, to make it available for someone else.
Our school website uniform page has links to all the places that you need https://sjsnortham.wa.edu.au/uniform
- Book an appointment
 - CDF Pay online school shop – sports uniform & “old” uniform
 - Perm-a-Pleat – new formal uniform items

Good Luck!
The exam period for our Secondary students began today. We would like to wish all students in Years 9 & 10 and the ATAR students in Years 11 & 12 all the best for their upcoming exams. Remember that sleep is as important as study!
