MESSAGE FROM THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Wishing you all a Peaceful and Blessed Easter
As we approach the end of another very busy term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the season we are entering – Easter. For our school community, this time holds special significance, both as a period of reflection and as an opportunity to strengthen our faith.
The Easter story is central to our Christian beliefs. It reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus, offering us the hope of renewal, forgiveness, and love. In a world that can often feel uncertain, the Easter message is one of profound hope, demonstrating that even in the darkest times, there is always the possibility of new beginnings and transformation.
This Easter season invites us to reflect on values of compassion, fidelity, integrity and perseverance – virtues that we seek to nurture in our students each and every day. The story of Jesus’ resurrection encourages us to embrace kindness, to offer forgiveness, and to approach life with a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
As we head into the break, I encourage all our families to take time to pause and reflect on the deeper meaning of this season, whether through quiet moments of prayer, family traditions, or simply a time to rest and rejuvenate.
I am taking a couple of weeks leave at the start of the term. I am heading to Rome as part of a contingent from CEWA taking part in a symposium discussing the missing element of spirituality in the wellbeing programs schools are trying to implement. While I am feeling very out of my depth, I am really looking forward to the experience as there are people from England, Ireland and America also taking part. We were meant to be having an audience with the Pope, however, with his current poor health that is now unlikely, unfortunately.
While I am out of the country, Sharon Cusack and Linley Waters will continue to run their campuses, but should something bigger need attending to, Linley Waters will be Acting Principal. She can be contacted via the Primary Admin or via email on linley.waters@cewa.edu.au
Thank you for your continued support throughout this term. I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things our school community will accomplish in the term ahead.
Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed Easter.
We look forward to seeing students return on TUESDAY APRIL 29.

Principal
