Message from the Leadership Team

This is the week we’ve all been waiting for – Colour Run Week! A huge thank you in advance to those who have volunteered some time to help in the set up and the running of this huge event – we couldn’t do it without you. Thanks also to those families who have made a donation and who have sent the donation link to extended family and friends. We are very grateful for your generosity. The donation link will remain open for a week after the colour run to allow those who haven’t had a chance to get their donations in.

We can’t wait to get messy and make some wonderful memories.

When: TOMORROW

10.30am - 11.30pm 12.00pm - 1.00pm 1.45pm - 2.45pm

Pre-Kindy - Year 2
Year 3 - Year 6
Year 7 - Year 12 (Regular timetable for periods 1-4) 

(The Pre-K and Kindy students are invited to take part in the event however they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian as this is not their usual school day) 

Clothing: 
  • Students are encouraged to wear white, however can participate in any clothing items but will NOT be allowed to participate in school uniform items. 
  • Old sneakers are a good idea as they must have shoes on  
  • Bus students MUST get changed before travelling home on the bus 

    Dismissal:   ALL STUDENTS will be dismissed from the PRIMARY campus.  

    Donations: 

    This is our major fundraiser and we really need all families to donate what they are able. Please share the link with extended family and friends. 

    Money raised will be going towards - new reading books at Primary, a laser cutter at secondary and if enough is raised then water bottle fillers on both campuses.

    CEWA Photo Shoot 

    Today we hosted students from Sacred Heart Goomalling, St Mary’s Merredin and St Joseph’s Southern Cross as we joined for a collective photo shoot to promote Catholic Education in the Wheatbelt. A big thank you to all of my model students who were very patient as they waited for their moment to shine.

    School Fees for 2025 School Year 

    Final call for families who hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Card, that wish to claim a discount on their fees.  Please present your card at either Admin Office and complete the necessary forms.  If you hold one of these cards and have a child in high school, then you will also be entitled to claim the $300 Clothing Allowance through the Secondary Assistance Scheme.  Paperwork for the Secondary Assistance Scheme needs to be completed and returned to the school by the end of week 8 in order to meet the Department of Education's closing date.  If you have any queries, please contact our Finance Department at finance@sjsnortham.wa.edu.au or by calling 9621 3500.
