From the Principal's Desk
Dear Members of St Joseph's Community
Last week I was thrilled to be able to inform the school community of our successful application to have a third stream of students added to our Secondary Campus from 2026. It is a testament to the many people who have worked to create such a wonderful school community over many years, that we now have waitlists long enough to warrant school expansion. We have some very excited families who have been offered an interview who had all but given up hope of getting their children into St Joseph’s for their secondary schooling. I will begin interviewing the students very soon.
EA Appreciation Week
We are incredibly blessed at St Joseph’s School with some of the most incredible Education Assistants I have ever worked with. These people are often the glue that holds the school together, they are often the ones that work with the most challenging behaviours, they form some of the strongest connections and they are some of the most hard-working people in any school. We recognise them and are sincerely grateful for all that they do at St Joseph’s.
It’s wedding season!
We have several staff taking some leave to get married in the coming weekends. Miss Adrienne Suckling is marrying her wonderful partner Chevy tomorrow and Mr Ed Ewing is marrying his beautiful bride Guiliana, next Saturday. The entire school community wish both of these magnificent couples a lifetime of love and laughter together.
End of Term
A reminder that Thursday 19 September is the last day of term as Friday 20 September is a Pupil free day.
With God’s blessings,

Principal
